Mexico vs Team USA International Baseball Championship 2007 follow all the tournament action at www.kidsbaseball.org Great Job by everybody participating in the Annual Mexico vs USA International Baseball Tournament Once again always a fun filled packed weekend of great baseball and family fun. Kids Baseball ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  I would like to congratulate the 2007 Pico Boys Shetland All-Star team in winning the first ever International Baseball tournament sponsored by Kids Baseball International held in Tijuana, Mexico this Labor Day Weekend 2007, by beating the Tijuana Potros in a come from behind win 12-8, Pico Boys were the lone American representative.  The Tijuana municipal league held a 14 team pool play with the top two teams having the opportunity to play against the USA .  The top two teams were Glu-Glu from Baja California and Potros of Tijuana, who were incidentally the favorites to win the tournament as evident in our first encounter in pool play losing to Potros 17-12.  The Championship game was a game that did not let us down as we were losing going into the 5th inning 5-8 but we turned it around 12-8, a game so exciting you will have to ask me about it, attached are a few photos of our team, coaching staff and opposing team.   I would like to thank the coaching staff for a wonderful journey and a shining example of leadership through our tournament run.   Adrian Gonzalez, Robert Benavides, Jerry Jimenez, Joe Martinez and never forget the women who care for our kids Corrina Gonzalez and Rose Garza.   Thank you all on our magical run through the Shetland tournaments, and we will see you next season in Pee-Wees.  GO PICO BOYS!!!!!!!!!!   Jorge Riesgo ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey Mr. Riesgo, thanks for sharing and CONGRATS to The Pico Boys!!!   WOO HOO!!!
